Tears of blood

walking through the halls, the singed carpet smell.
every room i step in has turned to ash and smoke.
The lights don't work, the smiles have gone from those who were once alive.

These tears of blood I cry, the memories that have gone.
All the futures adventures that will never be.
Tears of blood I shed, hold the darkness within.
All the pain and abuse can finally be free.

Reaching the room, where we all grew up.
I saw, and remembered  all the good things.
My mother and father, brother too have now passed.
and these silent tears I cry,the tears of blood.
They fall and leave a small trail behind.

These tears of blood I cry, the memories that have gone.
